The castle looks back on an approximately 600 years old history and was home to many royals as the Emperors Maximilian, Maria Theresa, Franz-Joseph and Empress Elisabeth of Austria (“Sissi”). Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart played in concerts there.

Perhaps your apartments Vienna is so situated that you can directly have a look at the lighted ferry wheel in the evening. However, you should not hesitate to visit the Prater itself. The Prater has far more to offer than the Ferris wheel and its big entertainment park. In the evening, after a long sightseeing you certainly will be tired. Have a good sleep in the comfortable bed in your Vienna apartment. When you wake up in the morning you will be ready for new acts.
